Shave your legs without using shaving gel

This Wilkinson Sword Intuition razor came in my December Glossybox. I was a bit surprised as it wasn’t the sort of thing I expected to find in a subscription box, but we all need a razor right?
The first thought that struck me is that it is rather large – this is because it is a 3-in-1 product that has a big solid soap around the razor that lathers and moisturises while you shave. This means you can shave without the need to apply shaving foam or shower gel first, and the solid soap contains Natural Aloe and is enriched with Vitamin E to help care for your skin.
The Intuition Naturals razor is really easy to use, just wet the end of the razor (or your legs) and then use. The razor glides along the skin really easily and gives a nice close shave. I did find it a bit cumbersome though as it is so big, and a bit difficult to manoeuvre around bony areas such as knees and ankles, but overall it gave good results.
The razor comes nicely packaged, and includes a protective plastic end to place over the soap section of the razor when you’re not using it, plus a wall-hanging suction bracket so you can hang it in the shower or by the side of the bath for easy access.
Whilst I am pleased with the results that the razor gives I can’t think it is something that I would actually buy as I don’t really see a need for it, and it is so big. I did think that it might be great for someone who was travelling, or for use at the gym, so you can shave without needing to carry along shower gel too. But surely you would be carrying shower gel anyway in those circumstances? Plus if I was travelling I would prefer to take the smallest razor possible so it didn’t take up too much space in my bag.
Personally I think in the future I will stick to shaving with my usual smaller razor and shower gel. Check out my review of Wilkinson Sword Quattro which also has a built-in battery powered bikini shaver, this is my favourite razor and I’ve been using it for years.
Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor is priced at £8.99, available from Superdrug.
