Voluspa – Suede Blanc Votive Candle

I purchased this small Voluspa Suede Blanc Votive Candle from Imaginarium in York last week (if you live in the York area you should definitely visit Imaginarium, the shop displays themselves are worth the visit).
I had never heard of Voluspa before, it is a luxury US candle brand. Fueled by a love for art, fragrance and elegant illumination, Troy and Traci Arntsen created their first scented candle in their kitchen in 1999, and the brand took off from there.
I was attracted by the traditional luxury style logo and wording on the box, and when I smelled the buttery soft scent I was hooked. Voluspa describe the scent of Suede Blanc… ‘buttery soft sueded leather and rich cedar combine in a blend that is both exotic and refined’.
It’s only a small 3oz votive candle, but I have it on the side of the bath and light it whenever I have a soak. It’s my little bit of luxury!
The candle wax is a coconut wax blend, and burns cleanly with no soot or smoke. It will burn for around 25 hours and is about 2.5 inches tall. I think it looks so pretty and the scent is divine. It also comes in a larger 12oz size, I will definitely think about investing in one of these when my little votive candle burns out.
Suede Blanc Votive Candle is priced at around $9 in the USA but is not too readily available here in the UK. They are available for £16 from Royal Design, or the larger 12oz size is available at £33 from Studio 34. Also available from Imaginarium in York.
