Vintage Cosmetic Company Shadow Brush Review

I received this Shadow Brush from Vintage Cosmetic Company in my Editor’s Picks box from Latest in Beauty. It had a sticky label on it which was difficult to remove and has unfortunately left a bit of a sticky mark on the handle, but other than it is a really pretty make-up brush.

I’d never heard of Vintage Cosmetic Company before but I’ve been checking out their website and they have a fab range of beauty accessories – brushes, make-up bags, false lashes, tweezers, etc – all with a pretty vintage 1950s twist, the prices are fairly reasonable too, they would make perfect Christmas gifts.

This Shadow Brush measures approximately 160mm from the tip of the brush to the end of the pink handle. It has soft, natural dome-cut bristles which are quite short but still lovely and soft. It is great for really pressing the eyeshadow onto the skin, and is also perfect for working shadow into the eye socket for a smoky look.

Vintage Cosmetic Company offer a range of make-up brushes and accessories, prices start at £7.

UPDATE 29TH JAN 2018 – This Shadow Brush is no longer available, however there is a similar Angled Shadow Brush which is just as good, priced at £8 from Vintage Cosmetics Company.
