Twig Dot Sugar & Spice Hand Poured Candle Review

I first came across this beautiful brand of candles at The City Girls blogger event that I attended in Leeds a few weeks ago where I was lucky enough to pick up a mini Carousel votive candle with scents of marshmallow, vanilla and cream. I immediately fell in love with the plain white jars and simple silver grey branding.

All Twig + Dot candles are made from a custom blend of soy and mineral wax and each candle is hand poured in Great Britain.

Today I am going to be telling you about one of the new Twig + Dot candle fragrances for Autumn 2015, it’s called Sugar & Spice and it’s scented with sweet vanilla and cinnamon.

Sugar & Spice is a warm fragrance, mainly of sweet creamy vanilla but there is just a hint of spicy cinnamon. I like that the cinnamon isn’t too overpowering, it reminds me of a lovely apple pie served with vanilla custard!

Sugar & Spice will be launched in the next few weeks along with another new Autumn scent – Woodland Walk – which will encompass the fragrance of leaves, birch and cedarwood.

Twig + Dot candles come in two sizes – a mini 45g votive jar or a large 230g jar candle with silver lid. Both sizes of candle look so classy and modern and they fit in with any type of décor (I’m thinking they’d make perfect Christmas presents!). The large 230g jar candles burn for 30-40 hours.

UPDATE 19th August 2017 – Sadly Twig + Dot is no longer trading. I’m really sad about this as I loved this candle and would liked to have treated myself to some more. I have since come across another similar candle that I absolutely love, it’s the Autumn Signature Candle from White Company priced at £20, and it looks very similar to the Twig + Dot candles in its simple glass jar.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

    • Twig + Dot candles are really stunning, I’d recommend you try the small votive sizes first to try out the scents then buy a big size of your favourite! xx

  2. I’m getting my candles stocked up ready with Autumn/Winter scents so this sounds great. Will definitely be checking these out.

    • They’re really beautiful, and I love that they’re so simple and will look good in any room. xx
