Too much information?

I have been tagged by the very lovely Laura from French Vanilla Cheeks blog to take part in this TMI (Too Much Information) tag. Basically I have to answer the questions below, then tag another couple of people to take part and answer the questions on their blogs.
I think this is a great bit of fun, and I think it’s important to find out about your favourite bloggers and learn what makes them tick. I hope you enjoy finding out about me…
What are you wearing? This afternoon I am going to be doing some decorating, so I’m wearing my oldest Levi jeans and a scruffy grey hoody – so it doesn’t matter if they get paint on.
Ever been in love? Yes, still am with my husband.
Ever had a terrible breakup? Probably a long time ago, but things like that fade with time.
How tall are you? Around 5’4”.
How much do you weigh? What a personal question! Around 9st 10lb. I do go up and down by a few pounds very regularly though.
Any tattoos? Yes, I recently had one on my wrist of 5 birds flying in a flock, I love it, I’d been planning to have it done for ages. I also have a red rose on my shoulder that I had done years ago and a small panda on my thigh. It is true that tattoos are addictive, all of mine are small and discreet though, I’m not a big fan of tattoo ‘sleeves’!
Any piercings? Just my ears – 4 in my left and 2 in my right.
OTP? I didn’t know what this meant so had to look it up on the internet! It is slang for ‘One True Pairing’ so the question means ‘who is your favourite couple?’. I’m not entirely sure on this one, but I am a big fan of friends and I was watching it the other day so I will say Rachel and Ross.
Favourite show? At the moment it has to be The Great British Sewing Bee, I love it! Every time I watch it I think, ‘I could make that!’…. I so couldn’t! It’s very inspiring though, I’d love to be able to make my own clothes. My limit is probably making a cushion!
Something you miss? I miss being young and having no responsibilities. As you get older you definitely appreciate what it was like to be young and you should definitely make the most of your teens and enjoy yourself.
Favourite song? I have so many! I do tend to like classic songs and I’m not a big fan of current music. My favourite song to dance to at a party is ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ by Queen, it gives me such energy!
Zodiac sign? Pisces.
Quality you look for in a partner? Someone who can be your best friend…. and who can cook!
Favourite Quote? “Always believe something wonderful is about to happen.” I’m not sure if this actually counts as a quote, it’s more of a statement, but I think it’s wonderful and reminds me that you never know what’s coming next.
Favourite actor/actress I don’t really watch a lot of films, but I did watch Erin Brockovich a couple of weeks ago with Julia Roberts who I thought was amazing in it. A really great film.
Favourite color? Purple.
Loud music or soft? There’s a time for both.
Where do you go when you’re sad? My bedroom, although I’m not sad very often.
How long does it take you to shower? What an odd question! About 20 minutes, most of that time is spent on washing and rinsing my hair!
How long does it take you to get ready in the morning? I can be out of bed and ready to go in 30 minutes if I’m very focused. Ideally I like an hour though.
Ever been in a physical fight? Yes when I was about 12, it was mainly scratching and hair-pulling though!
The reason I started blogging? I love reading about make-up and skincare and have been an avid reader of beauty blogs for some time. There are so many great ones out there, but there are also some really bad ones, and whilst reading one of these I thought ‘I could do better than this’ and so Beauty Best Friend was born! Now I just love blogging.
Fears? Growing old.
Last thing that made you cry? I don’t cry very often, but when I do it’s usually watching something sad (or happy) on TV.
Last time you said you loved someone? Probably yesterday to my husband.
Meaning behind your Blog Name? I decided to call my blog Beauty Best Friend so that I could share my product reviews and beauty tips with others – the same way I would share my makeup knowledge and recommendations with my best friends.
Last book you read? Persuader by Lee Child. I’ve never read a Lee Child book that I didn’t enjoy.
The book you’re currently reading? I am currently reading the classic Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell.
Last TV show you watched? Last night I watched The Hairy Bikers on their Tour of Asia!
Last person you talked to? The last person I actually spoke to face-to-face was my husband, but I have also been texting my best friend Kate since that.
The relationship between you and the person you last texted? Best friend.
Favourite food? It has to be chocolate! I also love prawns, pizza and big chunky chips!
Place you want to visit? I’d love to visit New York to do lots of shopping. But I particularly love visiting different places in the UK, we live in such a beautiful country. In April we are going to Norfolk for a long weekend with family and I’m looking forward to exploring.
Last place you were? Sainsburys yesterday…. not a very exciting answer!
Do you have a crush? No.
Last time you were insulted? Life is too short to feel insulted. If someone says something to you that’s not very nice it’s their problem, not yours.
Favourite flavour of sweet? Terry’s Chocolate Orange.
What instruments do you play? When I was at school I played the violin.
Favourite piece of jewellery? It would have to be my wedding and engagement rings as I wear them all the time. However my job is a designer and maker of silver jewellery so I am usually wearing a necklace or a ring that I have made. My silver jewellery is for sale on Etsy.
Last sport you played? Erm…. I can’t remember! Probably tennis a couple of months ago! I’m really not a big player of sport, but I do love going out for a walk, I try to get out most days when the weather is dry.
Last song you sang? It was probably the song from the new Hive advert that’s on the radio… something about an elephant’s birthday party! The tune is so catchy!
Favourite chat up line? If I was to be chatted up I would prefer something simple like, ‘Can I buy you a drink?’ rather than something cheesy.
Last time you hung out with anyone? Last weekend two of my oldest friends came over and we went into York make-up shopping, then went for a few drinks at a bar. It was lovely just to relax and catch up on old times.
