Batiste Dry Shampoo – Tropical

I’ve reviewed a few of the different ‘flavours’ of Batiste Dry Shampoo over the past couple of years, including the Light & Blonde variety. Dry Shampoo really is a lifesaver product and I’m never without a can on my dressing table – and I always go for Batiste as it’s the original, traditional dry shampoo. If you’ve never tried dry shampoo before it absorbs grease from the surface of your hair, helping to remove the shiny look of hair that could do with a wash, and it also adds texture and volume to freshly washed hair ideal if you want to create an up-do. In my opinion Batiste is the only brand of dry shampoo to buy, it’s been around forever and there’s a variety to suit everyone. I decided to choose the Tropical scented option last week when I purchased my latest can of Batiste Dry Shampoo. It’s described as ‘coconut & exotic’ and it certainly is that! Grace Cole – Fruit Works Pineapple & Passion Fruit Lip Balm

I was recently contacted by bodycare brand Grace Cole to see if I would review some of their products. You might think you’ve never heard of Grace Cole but chances are you will be familiar with some of their ranges and products – high end Boutique range, fun fruity Fruit Works range or the pretty Glitter Fairies range for little girls. I was sent this cute little Pineapple & Passion Fruit Lip Balm* from the Fruit Works range, I just love the little tin and it will be great for keeping little jewels and trinkets in when the lip balm is finished. The first thing that struck me with this product is the lovely fruity scent (I’m a sucker for anything fruity). It’s not a strong overpowering fragrance, it’s quite subtle and gentle, but it smells tropical and Summery just like a can of fizzy Lilt (do they even make Lilt any more?).
