Best Friend Bargains!

Best Friend Bargains!

I’ve been thinking a lot about my blog name Beauty Best Friend recently. I chose the name as I wanted to be someone my readers could trust and confide in. I wanted to share my beauty tips and recommendations with my readers like I would with my best friends. So in my role as your new (Beauty) Best Friend each weekend I will be sharing a small selection of special beauty offers with my Facebook and Twitter followers, and calling them my Best Friend Bargains! I carried out a trial last weekend, sharing four fantastic make-up deals from Escentual. The offers were mainly half price make-up discounts and got lots of interest, particularly on Twitter. So keep an eye out on my Beauty Best Friend Facebook and Twitter pages over the coming weekends for some not-to-be-missed special offers. Sometimes the Best Friend Bargains will be all from one shop, sometimes I’ll mix it up a bit and they’ll be from different suppliers. I’ll promote a mixture of skincare, make-up, haircare products,...

KOREAN BEAUTY Thelavicos – Whitening Vitamin C Ampoule

KOREAN BEAUTY Thelavicos – Whitening Vitamin C Ampoule

I am currently taking part in an initiative working with BNT News International, a global beauty/fashion/lifestyle and entertainment source based in Seoul, South Korea. I am helping BNT to promote a selection of new and exciting Korean beauty products to a UK audience, these are products that you probably won’t have seen before and some of them are really different and unique. You may have already seen some of my previous Korean beauty reviews, such as this post about Daeng Gi Meo Ri Oriental Special Shampoo. Whitening Vitamin C Ampoule* is a new product from Korean brand Thelavicos. The products come packaged in the silver box pictured above, it really looks luxurious and special. The box contains 4 small bottles or ampoules – ‘ampoule’ is described in the dictionary as ‘a small sealed glass capsule containing a liquid’. Inside each ampoule is a clear gel, and suspended above it is a chamber of tiny orange beads – these are Vitamin C powder. You can see the contents a bit...

KOREAN BEAUTY 3 Concept Eyes – Long Wear Eye Crayon

KOREAN BEAUTY 3 Concept Eyes – Long Wear Eye Crayon

I am currently taking part in an initiative working with BNT News International, a global beauty/fashion/lifestyle and entertainment source based in Seoul, South Korea. I am helping BNT to promote a selection of new and exciting Korean beauty products to a UK audience, these are products that you probably won’t have seen before and some of them are really different and unique. You might have already read some of my previous Korean beauty special reviews, like this one of Artclass by Rodin contouring powder compact from Too Cool For School. Today I am reviewing Long Wear Eye Crayon* from 3 Concept Eyes. The Long Wear Eye Crayon is available in 7 different shades, each of them is shimmery and lustrous. I have been using the shade called Fallen, it’s a dark bronze brown shade with a great shimmer. The eye colour applies straight from the crayon and you can either leave it as it is or blend it with a brush or cotton bud to give a more gentle...

KOREAN BEAUTY Daeng Gi Meo Ri – Oriental Special Shampoo

KOREAN BEAUTY Daeng Gi Meo Ri – Oriental Special Shampoo

I am currently taking part in an initiative working with BNT News International, a global beauty/fashion/lifestyle and entertainment source based in Seoul, South Korea. I am helping BNT to promote a selection of new and exciting Korean beauty products to a UK audience, these are products that you probably won’t have seen before and some of them are really different and unique. Today I am reviewing another haircare product from Korean beauty brand Daeng Gi Meo Ri, a couple of months ago I reviewed their Ja Dam Hwa Scalp & Hair Cleansing Treatment. Daeng Gi Meo Ri specialise in herbal shampoos, conditioners and hair treatments and this is their Oriental Special Shampoo* gift pack. The box is really large and contains two bottles of the shampoo – a large 500ml pump bottle and a smaller travel sized 145ml bottle. I think this would make a really nice gift, given that it comes gift boxed. The shampoo itself is quite thick and brown. All of the ingredients and directions on the back of...

KOREAN BEAUTY Too Cool For School – Artclass by Rodin

KOREAN BEAUTY Too Cool For School – Artclass by Rodin

I am currently taking part in an initiative working with BNT News International, a global beauty/fashion/lifestyle and entertainment source based in Seoul, South Korea. I am helping BNT to promote a selection of new and exciting Korean beauty products to a UK audience, these are products that you probably won’t have seen before and some of them are really different and unique. This is the second month that I have taken part, a couple of the previous items that I reviewed in July were Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lash and May Coop Raw Sauce. Today I am talking about the fabulous Artclass By Rodin* contouring powder compact from Too Cool For School. This is the second product that I’ve tried from this brand and it’s fast becoming one of my favourite Korean beauty brands. Rodin was a French sculptor who lived between 1840 and 1917. I’m not too sure what he’d have thought about having his name put to a make-up product, but I can see why...
