Soap & Glory – Solar Powder

Soap & Glory – Solar Powder

I’ve read some really glowing reviews of Soap & Glory Solar Powder over the past few months so I thought I’d try it out for myself. Solar Powder is a pressed powder bronzer in two shades, perfect for using all over the body. I’ve been really impressed with the other products I’ve reviewed from Soap & Glory like Peaches & Clean Deep Cleansing Milk and The Fab Pore Mask & Peel so I was looking forward to seeing if this bronzer lived up to their other products. The left-hand shade is the darkest and is a matt bronzer. It actually looks darker in the palette than it does on the skin, it gives a natural tan to the skin and doesn’t look orange at all. It’s great to use for contouring and doesn’t leave the face looking stripy. The right-hand shade is the paler of the two and has a slight golden iridescence to it. I had imagined it would be much more of a highlighter than a bronzer, but...

Soap & Glory – The Fab Pore

Soap & Glory – The Fab Pore

Following Soap & Glory’s recent product redesign, I decided to try out some more of their products. The Fab Pore is described as a ‘2-in-1 pore purifying mask & peel’ and it is designed to unclog pores, detox the skin and reduce breakouts. This 2-in-1 deep-cleansing exfoliator/mask is infused with Superfruit™ Yuzu and Soap & Glory’s super-active secret weapon Poreshrink-R™ to help reduce the size of large open pores. It should be used once a week to help keep skin detoxed but can be used more often if you get a bad breakout. The Fab Pore is a minty scented pale green thick paste containing tiny exfoliating microbeads of rice. Firstly, massage The Fab Pore into the skin using your fingers like you would do with a regular exfoliator, you can feel the rice microbeads gently exfoliating the skin but they do feel gentle and there aren’t a lot of them. Leave the product on the skin for 5-15 minutes depending on how much of an extreme clean you...

Soap & Glory – Peaches And Clean Cleansing Milk

Soap & Glory – Peaches And Clean Cleansing Milk

I have just discovered the wonder-brand that is Soap & Glory. I know, I know, they’ve been around since 2006, but I was always put off by their quirky retro packaging and affordable prices – a cleanser costing £7 can’t really do very much… can it? Well I have been proved well and truly wrong! I was in the market for a new cleanser, and after reading a couple of rave reviews about Soap & Glory Peaches And Clean 4-in-1 Wash-Off Deep Cleansing Milk I thought I would give it a try. I am actually puzzled as why it is called ‘4-in-1’ as the packaging claims its ingredients actually have 5 benefits: peach extract with skin smoothing fruit acids Quillaja Bark, a gentle, natural soap Jojoba oil, an emollient skin softener ‘Detoxyboost Technology’ to help purify and deep clean ‘Poreshrink R2’ for a clearer brighter complexion Anyway, the guys at Soap & Glory may not be able to count, but they can certainly make a good cleansing product! The pump bottle makes it easy to dispense...
