Step-by-step guide to the perfect eyeliner

Step-by-step guide to the perfect eyeliner

You may have read my post recently about the launch of Essence make-up in the UK, a fantastically affordable range of make-up exclusive to Wilkinsons. Well here is another of their amazing budget make-up products – the 2in1 Eyeliner Pen. Currently only available in black, this liquid eyeliner pen has 2 felt-tip type nibs – one thin and pointed, and the other thick with a flat nib a bit like a calligraphy pen. Be A Bombshell – Eye Liner in Onyx

Be A Bombshell – Eye Liner in Onyx

I had never heard of Be A Bombshell before I received this Onyx black Eye Liner in my September Glossybox. I definitely prefer liquid eyeliners that come in the form of a pen, they are much easier to apply than the ones that have a little brush. You can see from the swatch image below that the colour is a really dense dark black colour that translates well on to the skin. The Eye Liner has a water resistant formula too,...

Oceane – Make Up Remover Pen

Oceane – Make Up Remover Pen

I received this Make Up Remover Pen from Oceane in my August Glossybox. Oceane is a Brazilian brand and their products are not yet available in the UK, so I’m not too sure why Glossybox are promoting this product when it can’t be purchased over here yet. Anyway, it is a Make Up Remover Pen that can be used to tidy up little smudges and errors that inevitably occur when applying make-up. The pen contains liquid make-up remover that is absorbed by the nib, and then you use it to get rid of those pesky smudges of mascara, eye liner and powder, etc. Once the nib gets covered in make-up you simply remove it and insert a new one, the pack comes with 3 spare nibs. I’m not sure how easy it is to change the nib though, as I haven’t needed to do it yet. It is useful for removing mascara smudges, I have also used it for eyeshadow powder drop-off under my eyes but the pen does...
