Budget eye make-up from W7

I love discovering great budget make-up products and W7 is one of my favourite brands for this. A couple of months ago I reviewed a selection of their affordable lip products, and today I’m going to be telling you about some of their eye make-up… W7 Pearl Eyes pencils* – first up are these chunky eye pencils in Park Lane and Easy Does It. Park Lane is a dark chestnut brown and Easy Does It is a reddy bronze. Both shades have a pearlised shimmer to them and smudge nicely with a cotton bud. In the swatch image below, from left to right – Park Lane, Easy Does It. Park Lane is easily my favourite and has replaced my trusty black eyeliner for a while now. I just draw on a little at the outer corners of both my upper and lower lash lines then smudge with a cotton bud for a low key look. Benefit – Girl Meets Pearl

Benefit decsribes Girl Meets Pearl as ‘liquid pearl for the face’, it’s basically a liquid highlighter that can be used on cheeks or all over the face for a dewy glow. I love Benefit products, their packaging and product names are really quirky and they develop such innovative products, not to mention their amazing handbag-sized boxed collections of their best-sellers. Girl Meets Pearl can be worn on its own to give a delicate luminous pearlessence, or it can be worn over make-up for a subtle dewy glow. To dispense the product just remove the lid then twist the end of the tube and the product comes up through the little holes at the end of tube – then pat it gently onto your skin with your fingers. You should only dispense a little at a time as less is most definitely more with this product – you don’t want to end up with a face like a shiny oil slick!
