Leo Bancroft – Moroccan Miracle Argan Oil

I was recently asked by Beauty At Tesco to try out some of Leo Bancroft’s new hair products, so today I am reviewing Moroccan Miracle Argan Oil. Argan oil is the ingredient of the moment and has been appearing in all sorts of hair products recently. It’s a plant oil that is produced from the kernels of the argan tree that grows in Morocco, and it is used to condition and moisturise hair and it also tames flyaway ends and provides a finishing gloss. This Moroccan Miracle Argan Oil from Leo Bancroft isn’t pure argan oil though, it does contain other ingredients and feels a bit more like a serum than a pure oil. It is clear with no fragrance, and you only need a couple of pumps from the bottle otherwise any more would make hair greasy and sticky. Aussie – 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor

In the past I haven’t been one for hair treatments, but I recently had my long hair cut to shoulder length and now that all the dry, split ends are gone I want to keep it in tip-top shiny condition. I noticed this little sachet of Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner in Boots, and thought I would try it. It works like a deep conditioner, just massage into the hair after shampooing, leave for 3 minutes then rinse out. It has a pleasant fragrance and contains Australian Mint Balm and Aloe Vera. The sachet says ‘…smooths rough cuticles and helps restore manageability and adds shine.’ After drying and straightening my thick hair it was soft and shiny and I only needed to use half the sachet so have some left for another application. I’m not sure I would describe the product as a ‘miracle’ exactly, but it gives a good result and at only £1.09 for a 20ml sachet it’s worth trying out. The sachet is available in-store only...
