I ♡ Makeup – Goddess Of Love

I ♡ Makeup – Goddess Of Love

If you’ve not heard of I ♡ Makeup before it’s the little sister of budget brand Makeup Revolution, and it’s just as reasonably priced. Just before Christmas I reviewed their heart-shaped I ♡ My Lips Lipstick in Rising Pulse which I really loved, so I decided it was about time I tried another of their heart-shaped offerings. This is Goddess Of Love Triple Baked Highlighter and I’ve wanted it ever since I first saw it online, I love the fact that it’s heart-shaped! To be honest there’s not too much to say about it… other than I love it! It’s a hard-baked powder highlighter, really pale and shimmery. It gives the skin a really lovely glow and it blends nicely. You do need to be careful you don’t apply too much at once otherwise you could end up looking a bit shiny – it’s always easier to add more of a product than to remove some! I ♡ Makeup – Lipstick in Rising Pulse

I ♡ Makeup – Lipstick in Rising Pulse

If you’ve not heard of I ♡ Makeup before it’s the little sister of budget brand Makeup Revolution, and it’s just as reasonably priced. I thought it was a great novelty, but wasn’t sure whether the heart-shape would make the lipstick difficult to apply. Rising Pulse is a pale nude shade, it has a creamy texture but looks quite matt on the lips. The vanilla flavour is pleasant, and doesn’t taste/smell artificial like some lipsticks do. In the image above you can clearly see the heart shaped lipstick. I don’t find that it’s difficult to...

Sleek – i-Divine Palette in Storm

Sleek – i-Divine Palette in Storm

Sleek is one of my favourite make-up brands at the moment (you may have recently read my review of Blush By 3 in Pink Lemonade). I love Sleek’s smooth, streamlined black packaging and the range of both neutral and bright colours they offer, plus the prices are affordable without the feeling that this is a budget beauty brand. I was lucky enough to receive this i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Storm for Christmas and I have been playing with it ever since. I love that i-Divine Palette shadows are in 2 rows, the top row is mainly pale neutrals and the bottom row is choc full of the smoky stormy shades that give this palette its Storm name. The palette includes a small double ended sponge applicator which I don’t find very good for applying the colours, the sponge ends are far too hard. The individual shadows have not been named, so in this post I will describe them using their row and the number from the left (e.g. ‘Bottom...
