Lush – Cosmetic Warrior Fresh Face Mask

Lush – Cosmetic Warrior Fresh Face Mask

I’ve got a confession to make… until a couple of weeks ago I’d never ever tried a Lush product. I’d always been put off by the overpowering smell coming out of the shops and thought they were a bit of a gimmick until my sister forced me to go in with her one day (their bath bombs are one of her favourite ever things!). I was really surprised to see all the different products that they had available, to find out that they don’t test their products or ingredients on animals and that a lot of their items are made from natural ingredients. Lush also do a lot of campaigning for cruelty free – they remind me a bit of The Body Shop in the 1980s when they weren’t afraid to stand out from the rest and stood up for what they believed in. miamoo – travel goodies

miamoo – travel goodies

Today I am reviewing a travel set of skincare goodies from miamoo, a natural skincare brand created by runner-up of the first ever Apprentice series, Saira Khan. This little kit of travel goodies* from miamoo contains 6 skincare products, plus a soft flannel, all gathered together in a clear pouch. The overall kit is quite small and would fit nicely in a suitcase without taking up much room. Each product is only very small (the bottles are 30ml and the pot is 10ml) and probably won’t last very long, but they’re enough for a week away and you can always refill...

BioBees – Fresh Royal Jelly Elixir

BioBees – Fresh Royal Jelly Elixir

I was recently asked to review Fresh Royal Jelly Elixir* from BioBees, an all natural healthcare supplement containing Fresh Royal Jelly combined with a unique blend of fresh herbs including Korean Ginseng Extract, Guarana and Sarsaparilla. The aim of Fresh Royal Jelly Elixir is to help to maintain health, vitality, energy, youth and performance. Fresh Royal Jelly Elixir comes really nicely packaged in a box containing ten 12ml vials of the supplement, and you are supposed to drink one vial each morning before breakfast. So what is Royal Jelly? Royal Jelly is a secretion made by honey bees that they use to provide nutrition for growing bee larvae and adult queen bees and fresh Royal Jelly is believed to increase ones overall sense of well-being. Once I had found out what Royal Jelly was I was a little bit put off by the product, was I really sure that I wanted to drink a secretion made by bees? Plus, at this point I also need to mention that I...
