Does Vichy Dermablend cover all flaws?

Does Vichy Dermablend cover all flaws?

As a beauty blogger one of the things that I get asked most is ‘can you recommend a good foundation?’. Women want lots of benefits from a foundation, but the main requirement is that it evens out the skin tone and covers any marks or blemishes. Some people are lucky enough to have fairly clear skin, and can make do with a tinted moisturiser or light foundation, whereas others have blemishes, acne, birthmarks, scars and other marks that need more coverage. Vichy Dermablend is a range of base make-up developed to cover all complexion flaws. I have been testing out the Fluid Corrective Foundation 16hr* and the Corrective Stick 14hr*, both in the palest Opal shade to see if they live up to Vichy’s claims. La Roche-Posay – Anthelios XL Suncream

La Roche-Posay – Anthelios XL Suncream

Haven’t we been having the loveliest sunny weather recently here in the UK? I’ve loved waking up to sunshine, and it’s also given me a great opportunity to test out these 50+ SPF suncreams from La Roche-Posay. La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Tinted Fluid* was the first of the two suncream products that I tried out. It’s really light, almost like a liquid so you have to be careful you don’t drip any when you’re applying it, plus it’s tinted a dark brown colour although the colour doesn’t look quite so dark once you’ve applied it. It feels a bit like a BB Cream (Beauty Balm Cream) once you’ve applied it to your face, although with it being so light in texture you would still need to apply a foundation product...

Lancome – Gentle Softening Cleansing Fluid

Lancome – Gentle Softening Cleansing Fluid

I received this sample size of Lancome’s Gentle Softening Cleansing Fluid (Galateis Douceur) in my Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar in December, although I have purchased it in the past. It’s a really simple, gentle product, and can also be used around the delicate eye area reducing the need for a separate eye make-up remover. The product is a very light milky white lotion and it has a gentle creamy scent. It turns almost transparent when you warm it in your hands before applying it gently to the face. I have combination skin with a particularly oily chin but this Gentle Softening Cleansing Fluid doesn’t feel oily at all on the skin, just gentle and light, and I think it would be great for oily skins. It would also be great to use in Summer when skin naturally produces more oil in humid temperatures (if we get a Summer that is!). My skin feels light and refreshed after using this product, but not dry, and it does easily remove eye...
