MeMeMe Cosmetics – Eye & Brow Make-Up

MeMeMe Cosmetics – Eye & Brow Make-Up

My experience of MeMeMe Cosmetics in the past had been a bit hit and miss… I really liked the Eye Inspire Mono Eyeshadow in Mirage that I reviewed in 2013, but I wasn’t keen on their Cherub’s Blush Cheek & Lip Tint and found it messy and difficult to use. But when I was awakened by the postman on my birthday in March, I was very happy to find that MeMeMe had sent me a selection of eye and brow make-up for my birthday! A very welcome treat indeed and totally unexpected. So, what did I think? Read on to find out, there were 3 products: MeMeMe Dark & Divine Mascara* – it’s very rare that I find a mascara that I love so I didn’t have very high hopes with this one, but I’m pleased to say that it’s really great. L’Occitane – Immortelle Divine Lotion

L’Occitane – Immortelle Divine Lotion

Today’s review is of a rather unique product – Immortelle Divine Lotion from French skincare experts L’Occitane. I’m pretty sure I’ve never come across a product with benefits like this before! With 3 patents, Immortelle Divine Lotion helps accelerate cellular renewal, firms and smoothes the skin, and aids it in retaining its elasticity. I have been applying the lotion to my face both morning and evening, in place of toner in between cleansing and moisturising. You can either apply it with a cotton wool pad and wipe it all over the face or with your fingers. The white cloudy lotion is extremely thin and runny, and is absorbed straight into a cotton wool pad so I...

Sleek – i-Divine Palette in Storm

Sleek – i-Divine Palette in Storm

Sleek is one of my favourite make-up brands at the moment (you may have recently read my review of Blush By 3 in Pink Lemonade). I love Sleek’s smooth, streamlined black packaging and the range of both neutral and bright colours they offer, plus the prices are affordable without the feeling that this is a budget beauty brand. I was lucky enough to receive this i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Storm for Christmas and I have been playing with it ever since. I love that i-Divine Palette shadows are in 2 rows, the top row is mainly pale neutrals and the bottom row is choc full of the smoky stormy shades that give this palette its Storm name. The palette includes a small double ended sponge applicator which I don’t find very good for applying the colours, the sponge ends are far too hard. The individual shadows have not been named, so in this post I will describe them using their row and the number from the left (e.g. ‘Bottom...
