eBay Owl/Fox Handbag

eBay Owl/Fox Handbag

I just couldn’t resist sharing this cute handbag that I purchased from eBay recently! I’m not quite sure if it’s supposed to be an owl or a fox, but both are currently in fashion and I just think it’s so cute! The press stud on it’s little nose unfastens to open up the bag, and whilst there are no separate pockets inside it’s quite a decent size to fit your everyday essentials in. The strap is quite a good length, and it’s adjustable too using buckles so you could wear it across the body or over one shoulder. It looks a bit like leather although I think it’s probably made from plastic given the cheap price! But it’s good value, and it comes in 6 different colours. I went for the orange as I think that’s the most fox-like colour, but I think the brown looks good too. MUA – Eyeshadow Trio in Blue Babe

MUA – Eyeshadow Trio in Blue Babe

I recently purchased a huge MUA make-up haul, and included within it was this Trio Eyeshadow in Blue Babe. Nestled inside the palette there is also a small double-ended foam applicator – I don’t usually mind using these applicators as I find you get less powder drop-off than from a brush, but the thin end on this one is very difficult to use. I love the fact that on the base of the palette there is a little diagram which suggests where on the eye you apply each colour – good for...

The hunt for the perfect pink lipstick #2

The hunt for the perfect pink lipstick #2

I am on the hunt… the hunt for the perfect pink lipstick that is ‘MLBB’ or ‘my lips but better’. You know, the sort of colour that looks from a distance like you’re not wearing lipstick, like you just have naturally pink, plump perfect lips. The sort of colour you can just slick on from the tube and doesn’t need painstaking application with liner and lipbrush. The sort of colour that looks like ‘my lips, but better’. This is the second lipstick that I have tested during my hunt, MUA Makeup Academy Lipstick in ‘Shade 5’.  This is a very pale shimmery pink colour, remarkable in the fact that it costs £1…. yes, you read that correctly, it costs just £1! I didn’t have very high hopes for this lipstick given it’s low price but I was very pleasantly surprised. Shade 5 is surprisingly creamy, applies really nicely from the tube and has a lovely vanilla scent – it certainly doesn’t feel like a budget product. It does have a lot...
