Batiste Dry Shampoo – Tropical

Batiste Dry Shampoo – Tropical

I’ve reviewed a few of the different ‘flavours’ of Batiste Dry Shampoo over the past couple of years, including the Light & Blonde variety. Dry Shampoo really is a lifesaver product and I’m never without a can on my dressing table – and I always go for Batiste as it’s the original, traditional dry shampoo. If you’ve never tried dry shampoo before it absorbs grease from the surface of your hair, helping to remove the shiny look of hair that could do with a wash, and it also adds texture and volume to freshly washed hair ideal if you want to create an up-do. In my opinion Batiste is the only brand of dry shampoo to buy, it’s been around forever and there’s a variety to suit everyone. I decided to choose the Tropical scented option last week when I purchased my latest can of Batiste Dry Shampoo. It’s described as ‘coconut & exotic’ and it certainly is that! It’s very highly perfumed with coconut and smells just like a desert island!...

Batiste – Dry Shampoo in Cherry

Batiste – Dry Shampoo in Cherry

I’m a massive fan of the lifesaver product that is Batiste Dry Shampoo. I have already reviewed the ‘Clean and Classic Original’ variety and the Light & Blonde variant. Today I am reviewing the fruity and cheeky Cherry fragranced version. Batiste Dry Shampoo works by absorbing the oil on the surface of the hair, you just spray it sparingly over dry hair and then style as normal – only make sure you don’t apply too much as it can leave hair looking a bit ‘talcy’. The Cherry is the same as the original one except that it has the lovely fragrance of cherries – the fragrance is fairly strong when you first spray it, but it fades quickly leaving a gentle sweet scent in your hair. The only downside with Batiste Dry Shampoo is that the spray is rather violent and loud (and scares my cats!), I would prefer a more gentle spray like you get from a hairspray can. I love the retro design on the can and the logo. Batiste Dry...

Batiste Dry Shampoo – Light & Blonde

Batiste Dry Shampoo – Light & Blonde

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years you can’t fail to have noticed the revival that Batiste Dry Shampoo is having. This lifesaver product means you can revive and refresh hair without having to wash it. I have already reviewed the ‘Clean and Classic Original’ variety (read that review here), now it’s time to review the Light & Blonde version. Batiste Dry Shampoo works by absorbing the oil on the surface of the hair, you just spray it sparingly over dry hair and then style as normal – only make sure you don’t apply too much though as it can leave hair looking a bit ‘talcy’. The Light & Blonde version has been developed for blonde hair and gives a hint of blonde colour. I don’t feel really that it is too different from the Original version as that is really pale too, but I can imagine that if you have dark hair you would be better off using one of the darker coloured versions rather than...

Free Batiste Dry Shampoo!

Free Batiste Dry Shampoo!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years you can’t fail to have noticed the revival that Batiste Dry Shampoo is having. Now a staple on every girl’s (and some guys’) dressing table this lifesaver product means you can revive and refresh hair without having to wash it. Batiste Dry Shampoo works by absorbing the oil on the surface of the hair, just spray into dry hair and then style as normal – make sure you don’t apply too much though as it can leave hair looking a bit ‘talcy’. The only downside is that the spray is rather violent and loud (and scares my cats!), I would prefer a more gentle spray like you get from a hairspray can. There are loads of fragrances and colours to choose from, but I like the original as I love its retro turquoise and yellow spiral can and classic logo. I sometimes use it to texturise my hair too if I want to do an up-do, I find that...
