Rimmel London – 60 Seconds Nail Polish Lucky Lilac

Lucky Lilac (670) is part of Rimmel’s 60 Seconds fast-drying nail polish collection, it’s a bright pinky-fuchsia shade that’s perfect for Summer. It looks quite glossy when it’s first dried but after a day or two it starts to look a bit duller, although you could add a coat or two of clear top coat for a glossy finish. I really like this bright shade, although I do think purple nails could be considered a bit old-fashioned these days now there are so many other unusual colours available. The nail polish brush is nice and wide, a bit like you get with an Essie polish, so you can quickly apply the colour to each nail with only 2 or 3 strokes. It lives up to its 60 Seconds name too and dries fairly quickly, I applied two coats of Lucky Lilac just before I got in the car and after driving for about five minutes it had completely dried. I received this new Keratin Smooth 60 Second Treatment Shot from Tresemme in my August Glossybox. Tresemme isn’t a brand I would normally choose, but this little tube reminded me a bit of the VO5 Hot Oil Treatments that were popular some years ago and I was intrigued to try it out. This Keratin Smooth 60 Second Treatment Shot aims to smooth and hydrate the hair and to make it easier to style. You apply the deep conditioning product after shampooing mainly to the mid-lengths and the ends of your hair, and then leave it on for 60 seconds before rinsing off. Tresemme recommend using this Treatment Shot once a week, and I have found that one tube will last for 2 applications as long as your hair isn’t too long, you just reinsert the long pointy end of the torn-off nozzle into the hole to re-seal the tube.
