Stila Glow & Behold Makeup Set Review

Just a quick review today, to tell you about the new Stila Glow & Behold Makeup Set that I’ve recently purchased. Stila have joined forces with cult US jewellery designer BaubleBar to create some stylish and great value Christmas cosmetic collections.

Stila Glow & Behold Makeup Set

The Glow & Behold Makeup Set is priced at just £20 but would have a £62 value if the items were purchased separately. I think this is a great way of treating yourself to a few Stila make-up products and not breaking the bank.

The Stila Glow & Behold Makeup Set contains:

  • Rhinestone headband from BaubleBar
  • Stila Lip Glaze in Gleam – lip gloss pen in a shimmery nude
  • Stila Convertible Color in Magnolia – lip & cheek cream palette in a warm browny red
  • Sila Smudge Stick in Lionfish – long lasting, waterproof, shimmery eye pencil in a dark brown

I’m most excited about trying the Stila Lip Glaze pen, I’ve wanted to try one of these for the longest time! I’m not sure I’ll get much use out of the rhinestone headband, I seem to have the wrong shape of head to wear these elasticated bands and they usually end up pinging off the back of my head! I suppose it could alternatively be worn around the wrist as a bracelet, or wrapped around the base of a hair bun/ponytail to give a bit of a twinkle.

I originally bought this Stila Glow & Behold Makeup Set to give as a Christmas gift, but when it arrived the box was terribly squashed and damaged as it had just been posted in a small jiffy bag. When I contacted Stila they sent a replacement out straight away which is I think is great customer service – unfortunately the second box was slightly squashed too (as you can see from the photo below) although it had been carefully packaged in a cardboard box this time.

Anyway, the good news is that I get to keep the first damaged set and I will be reviewing some of the Stila products in more depth for my readers in the New Year.

Stila Convertible Color Open

A lot of the Stila Christmas gift sets have been sold out for a while, but this one is still available on their website.
