Soap & Glory Peaches And Clean Cleanser Review

Some eagle-eyed readers may have noticed that I already reviewed Peaches And Clean Cleanser a few months ago, but Soap & Glory have recently redeveloped their skincare range so I wanted to weigh up how the new version of Peaches And Clean performs against the old one. The old Peaches And Clean was one of my favourite cleansers (and could also double up as an exfoliating mask) so I was nervous to try out the new version and had my fingers crossed that it wouldn’t have changed too much.

Soap & Glory have added OXYGINSENG Technology™ (their special oxygen boosting complex) to this product to re-energize and stimulate the skin, plus PEACH & GOJUICE™ Extracts (Peach Extract and Goji Berry extract) that are rich in Vitamin A, C and anti oxidants. They have also removed parabens from the cleanser which I think is a great move.

The old Peaches & Clean

The old product was described as a ‘4-in-1 Wash-Off Deep Cleansing Milk’ whereas the new one is a ‘3-in-1 Wash-Off Deep Purifying Cleanser’. The three benefits of the new Peaches and Clean are:

1. Cleansing
2. Smoothing
3. Revitalising

After using the new Peaches And Clean for a week or so it is clear that despite the added ingredients and the toned-down packaging not much else has changed. The pump bottle still makes it easy to dispense the creamy white lotion which still has a heavenly peach fragrance with a hint of fresh mint and is suitable for all skin types. It rubs into the skin really nicely, feeling very slightly oily, and then is removed easily  – I use a warm damp facecloth, followed by a rinse with warm water. Not only does Peaches and Clean cleanse the skin, it also quickly melts makeup, eliminating the need for a separate makeup remover. The multi-tasking benefits of this Soap & Glory cleanser go on… you can also apply Peaches and Clean as a face mask before a bath, the Glycol and fruit acids help to loosen old skin cells and exfoliate the skin. I do think you would need to be careful using this product as a face mask if you have sensitive skin though.

So my verdict? Peaches And Clean is still one of my favourite cleansers and just as good as ever!

Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean Cleansing Milk is priced at £8 for 200ml, and is available from Soap & Glory.
