Seventeen – Mirror Shine Lipstick in Camisole

Today I am reviewing another of Seventeen’s Mirror Shine Lipsticks, this one is the super-pale Camisole. When I was a teenager I used to love Boots Seventeen products (or 17 as it used to be known) as they were great value and perfect for the occasional pocket money splurge.
Mirror Shine Lipsticks are really soft and sheer with a nice gloss-like shine – hence the name ‘Mirror Shine’! I just love the almost-lipgloss-like sheer consistency of these lipsticks, and I chose this one in Camisole as I felt it had a 1960s pale feel to it.
The square-shaped black bullet tube has a nifty little pull out mirror hidden inside the lid which is a really nice touch, perfect for applying your lippy when you’re out and about. I love products with surprising little ‘added extras’ and this doesn’t disappoint.
Camisole is very pale creamy peach colour, as you can see from the swatch image below it applies much sheerer than it appears in the tube, and gives only the palest hint of a tint of creamy colour, it is almost transparent. These Mirror Shine Lipsticks from Seventeen are a great way of experimenting with a new colour without going too bold.
This Mirror Shine Lipstick in Camisole feels creamy and luxurious on the lips, a bit like a thick lipgloss, and makes the lips feel moisturised. It has very little scent or taste and just gives a hint of colour as you can see from the image below. It is so understated, it is an ideal lip colour to wear when you want to play up your eyes – wear with vibrant eyeshadows or 60s doe-eye liquid eyeliner.
There are 17 colours available in the Mirror Shine Lipstick range. Read my review of Seventeen Mirror Shine Lipstick in Cheeky Secret here.
