Quickmax Eyelash Growth Enhancer Review

When I was asked to try out this Quickmax Eyelash Growth Enhancer from StyleLux I thought it sounded too good to be true. After all, if there was a product out there that could really promise longer, thicker darker lashes we’d already be using it right?

Quickmax contains a patented combination of ingredients that claim to rejuvenate the growth cycle of your lashes (or eyebrows). It has also been developed to help build up the tissue that anchors your lashes, so the tissue retains the lashes longer and gives them more time to grow. The ingredients in QuickMax include an advanced hair-growth enzyme, plus a natural hair-follicle stimulant to make the enzyme work faster. The formula also contains hyaluronic acid which helps to stimulate new hair growth.

Quickmax claims that you will start to see the initial results in 7-10 days, but that you should allow 4-6 weeks to see the full effects. First of all I wasn’t really sure how quickly eyelashes actually grow, so I did a bit of research. It turns out that they can grow up to quarter of an inch per month, which I think is quite impressive.

I did find the instructions that come with the product a bit confusing – they don’t explain how often to use the product, or what time of day is best. However there is lots of information and full directions on the StyleLux website, it even explains that you can use Quickmax on eyebrows.

The Quickmax Eyelash Growth Enhancer is really easy to apply. It is just like applying a liquid eyeliner, and you apply it along the lash line using the tiny, thin brush. The product itself is a clear serum with little or no fragrance and you apply it once a day, in the evening before bed.  I have been using it now for just over a week, applying it to the upper lashes only just on one eye (so that I could compare the treated lashes with the untreated lashes on the other eye).

I have to admit that after using Quickmax for just over a week I can’t really see any difference in my lashes, however I will continue to use the product for another few weeks to see if I can benefit from longer use. There are lots of positive reviews on the StyleLux website from customers who have used Quickmax, which suggests that some people do see a benefit.

UPDATE March 2014 – I continued to use Quickmax Eyelash Growth Enhancer for another couple of months but didn’t see any improvement in the length or thickness of my lashes. I think that maybe my lashes looked healthier and shinier than they did before, but nothing too worth writing home about.

UPDATE 27th August 2017 – since writing this post I have read quite a lot of worrying reviews from people who say that after ordering this product they have unknowingly been signed up to a monthly subscription of Quickmax Eyelash Growth Serum, and are being chased by StyleLux for money that they say they are owed. It doesn’t sound very good! Also, the price has increased by 100% in 4 years, the serum cost £24.95 when I reviewed it in 2013 and it now costs £49 for the same size tube. Personally I would suggest that you avoid this brand. However if you’re still interested in having a look then Quickmax Eyelash Growth Enhancer is priced at £49, available from StyleLux.

  1. Did Quickmax eyelash enhancer ever work for you?

    • Hi Janice, I’m not sure it really made my lashes longer or thicker, but it did condition them really well, they were very healthy and shiny. xx

  2. Does anyone have any more feedback on Quickmax please? I’d rather not waste £25 if it’s just BS lol!

  3. I tried the lash serum and woke up with red swelling around my eyes. I was use to using serums and wanted to try a new one. Not good!!!! What a waste!

    • That’s terrible news! Make sure you’re applying it to your lash line and not all around your eyes, it’s not a regular eye serum. xx
