Purple Glitter Christmas Nails

I created this Purple Glitter Christmas nail look all ready for the big day. I love warm berry nail colours in Winter and you can’t beat a bit of sparkle too for Christmas!
The purple shade is Zoya Odette – a sultry orchid maroon cream – I predicted it’s going to be a popular shade next Spring/Summer in my London Fashion Week post that I published in September, but I think it’s also just as good as a Winter nail polish.
Zoya offers a huge range of toxin-free nail polishes (there are over 300 shades to choose from) free of the top 5 toxins usually found in nail polishes – formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, dibutyl phthalate and camphor – that are thought to contribute to cancer and birth defects.
I painted on 2 coats of Zoya Odette, it’s fairly pigmented and dark so you don’t need any more coats. You do need to apply it carefully though as any smudges really show up given that it’s such a dark shade.
The glitter top coat that I used is Barry M’s Diamond Jewel Glitter Nail Paint and it looks good painted over anything! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Barry M are my favourite nail polishes because there’s so many to choose from and they’re so affordable.
I just applied just 1 coat of the Barry M Diamond Jewel Glitter Nail Paint over the top of the Zoya polish – I’d been planning to apply a second coat of this but I didn’t think it really needed it as there’s plenty of sparkle on there. This is a really hard wearing glitter polish, it’s hard as nails and works well as an alternative to a regular clear top coat.
What do you think of my Purple Glitter Christmas Nails look?
