Perfume Of The Day – Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Eau de Parfum

You may have guessed by now that I’m a bit obsessed with the Fleur de Figuier fragrance from French brand Roger & Gallet, this is the fourth product in the range that I’ve reviewed now! I first fell in love with the fruity scent last year when I tried out the Huile Gourmande (it was one of my favourite products of 2014) and now I’m using the Eau de Parfum*.
The Fleur de Figuier range encompasses both the fruit and the flower of the fig, plus mandarin flowers. It’s quite fruity and reminds me a bit of The Body Shop’s 1980s favourite fragrance Dewberry, I could just sit and sniff it all day!
Being an Eau de Parfum this product is much stronger than the Eau Fraiche that I reviewed a few weeks ago, as this one contains more alcohol. The Eau de Parfum also smells slightly more floral and less fruity than the other products in the range.
The angular glass bottle looks a bit more old fashioned than the smooth oval bottles of the Eau Fraiche and Huile Gourmande, but it still feels good quality. The fragrance lasts a good few hours too, leaving a subtle, warm, sweet fragrance on the skin.
Fleur de Figuier is definitely my fragrance of 2015 so far!
Fleur de Figuier Eau de Parfum is usually priced at around £40 for 50ml, but it’s currently on offer at Escentual for just £34.40 with free delivery.
