Organic Surge – Orange Flower Toner

I think it’s really important that we know what we are putting on our skin, and I am more and more often choosing natural and organic skincare products. One of my favourite organic brands is Organic Surge. Organic Surge products contain no parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate, no artificial fragrances or colourants and no genetically modified ingredients, neither are they tested on animals.
I used to use Organic Surge’s Refreshing Toner, but they have recently reformulated it and created the new Orange Flower Toner. This is a fairly simple product, it is a cooling, refreshing pale orange coloured liquid toner with a lovely subtle Neroli orangey scent, it feels cooling on the skin and leaves it feeling really clean and fresh. It contains organic orange flower water which is renowned for its healing and regenerating properties.
I apply Orange Flower Toner every night with a cotton wool pad after cleansing to help refresh my skin and remove every last trace of cleanser. After use my skin feels nice and cool, and it doesn’t make my skin feel tight like other toners sometimes do. It’s suitable for all skins including sensitive ones – a few weeks ago I had a dry, sore patch on my face but this toner didn’t irritate it or make it sting at all – it’s so gentle.
I like Organic Surge’s packaging, it looks a lot nicer than the packaging of a lot of natural brands. Whilst I understand that some natural brands like to focus on getting their products right rather than the packaging, I still think it is important for a skincare brand to look good too.
I completely love this toner, it really feels like I am treating my skin when I use it, and I can go to bed happy knowing that I haven’t needlessly applied lots of extra chemicals to my skin.
UPDATE 31st July 2017 – Sadly this toner has been discontinued which is a real shame as it was one of my staple skincare products. Organic Surge don’t offer a toner at all any more. Instead my new favourite toning product is 100% pure and organic Rose Water from Amelia Moss which I reviewed last year.
It’s worth signing up for the Organic Surge e-newsletter as they often have sales and discounts on some of their most popular products and they also offer a customer loyalty scheme which is great value.
