MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss in Too Much Fun Review

It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed anything from MUA so today I’m going to be talking about their Sheer Finish Lipgloss in Too Much Fun.

MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss is a budget rival to Lancôme Juicy Tubes and other similar glosses. The little tubes fit nicely in a pocket or handbag and I love to use lipgloss for a sheer Summer make-up look.

The MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss squirts straight out of the end of the tube onto the lips, and you can then use the flattened nozzle to spread the lipgloss across your lips. This one has a lovely strawberry taste and is really glossy. ‘Too Much Fun’  is a bright raspberry pink, you can clearly see the colour on the swatch image below and it’s really thick and glossy. What’s more, it’s not too runny either and it stays put, not bleeding over the lip line.

When I apply lipgloss I like to just apply a really thin coat, as I don’t like the feeling of a heavy goopy gloss on my lips. You can see from the image below that it looks like a fairly natural pinky colour when applied to the lips thinly, but if you want more of a vibrant colour you could apply a thicker layer. Sheer Finish Lipgloss in Too Much Fun from MUA would also add a lovely gloss when applied over a pink or red coloured lipstick if you didn’t want to go for the natural look.

There are 7 different shades of MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss and I have already reviewed the ‘Some Me Time’ shade which is a more natural nude pink shade. These lipglosses are part of MUA’s £1 make-up range and are great value – you could buy all 7 for less than it would cost you to buy one lipgloss from a premium brand!

UPDATE 25th Jan 2018 – it looks like MUA no longer have a lipgloss range, however they do the fantastic MUA Luxe Unique Lipgloss for just £4 which changes different shades of pink according to your own lip pH. If you want something similar but with a bigger pricetag then try DIOR Addict Lip Glow which I adore!

  1. Wow that’s really cheap
I’m usually not much of a lipgloss person, but I love this result
