MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss in Lets Meet Review

A few weeks ago I purchased a haul of make-up from budget beauty brand MUA (Make Up Academy) and this week I have been testing their Sheer Finish Lipgloss in ‘Lets Meet’ which is a lovely natural nude beige colour.

MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss is a budget rival to Lancôme Juicy Tubes and other similar glosses. The little tubes fit nicely in a pocket or handbag and I love to use lipgloss for a sheer Summer make-up look.

The MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss squirts straight out of the end of the tube onto the lips, and you can then use the flattened nozzle to spread the lipgloss across your lips. This one has a lovely strawberry taste and is extremely glossy. ‘Lets Meet’ is a lovely natural nude beige colour, you can clearly see the colour on the swatch image below. What’s more, it’s not too runny either and it stays put, not bleeding over the lip line.

When I apply lipgloss I like to just apply a really thin coat, as I don’t like the feeling of a heavy goopy gloss on my lips. You can see from the image below that a thin coat of ‘Lets Meet’ gives a really nice natural glossy glow, but if you layer it on slightly heavier the result will be more of an opaque beige colour like that of the swatch on my arm. This colour would also add a lovely gloss when applied over a nude or brown coloured lipstick if you don’t want to go too natural.

There are 7 different shades of MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss. I have already reviewed the pink colour ‘Some Me Time’ (read that review here) and I will be reviewing another one shortly. These lipglosses are part of MUA’s £1 make-up range and are great value.

MUA Sheer Finish Lipgloss is priced at £1 and can be purchased from MUA Store.
