MUA Makeup Academy Haul

I was so impressed with the quality of Superdrug’s MUA Makeup Academy range that I placed a rather large online order, and it has just arrived! But I’m starting to think that I overdid it…. I did benefit from a 3 for 2 offer though, and the whole lot cost less than a Chanel eyeshadow palette… am I just trying to justify my purchase to myself?!
From left to right, back to front… Lipsticks in Shade 9, Shade 4, Shade 6, Shade 14. Power Pout Lip Crayons in Rendezvous and Irreplaceable. Sheer Finish Lip Glosses in Too Much Fun, Let’s Meet and Some Me Time.
I was hoping that MUA would eventually give their lipsticks proper names, to replace ‘Shade 1, Shade 2’ etc, and the nude Shade 14 lipstick also has the name ‘Bare’ on the label… are MUA finally giving their lipsticks names?
From left to right… Gel Eyeliner in Tribe, Glitter Eyeliner in Iced, Intense Glitter Eyeliner in Blue Babe, Trio Eyeshadow in Legendary, Trio Eyeshadow in Blue Babe, Eyeshadow Palette in Undressed.
MUA’s Undressed Eyeshadow Palette is the one which was launched to rival Urban Decay’s Naked eyeshadow palette, I am looking forward to trying this out.
From left to right, back to front… Nail Polish in Natural Days and Koala Bear, Blush Perfection Cream Blusher in Bittersweet, Pressed Face Powder in Shade 1, Powder Blusher in Shade 2.
I also purchased fake Lengthening Lashes called Flair, which were about the most natural-looking ones that were available.
I think MUA have got their packaging just right, the sleek black and clear plastic cases don’t suggest the brand is a budget one, and the nail polishes look like little mini Essie ones.
What would you like to see me review first? I am most excited about trying out the nail polishes (the pale pink and grey will go so well together) and the Power Pout lip crayons.
MUA Makeup Academy is available from MUA Store.
