L’Occitane – Angelica Hydration Cream

I recently received my May Glossybox and included inside it was this L’Occitane Angelica Hydration Cream. I’m a big fan of L’Occitane and I love their traditional-looking packaging and labels, I didn’t feel that this pot and label followed their usual style but I was still excited to try out this moisturiser.
This Angelica Hydration Cream is part of L’Occitane’s Angelica range. All of the products contain organic Angelica – Angelica essential oil has hydrating and toning properties and according to L’Occitane’s website should leave skin ‘plumped, smoothed and more radiant’. Other items in the Angelica range include an Instant Hydration Mask and a Cleansing Gel.
Inside the pot is a white cream and I have been applying it to my face every morning. It feels very fresh and cooling, and it has a pleasant smell a bit like freshly-cut grass. A little goes a long way with this Hydration Cream and you only need to apply a small amount to cover the whole face. Angelica Hydration Cream is aimed at normal to dry skin, and I have combination skin so I found it a little too oily for my chin and nose but the dry patches on my forehead cleared up really quickly. I can see this Angelica Hydration Cream being perfect for the Winter months when skin is easily dried out by the cold weather and central heating. I definitely found it very hydrating, but will be saving the rest of it for when my skin feels dry and needs a quick moisture boost.
If you’re looking for a moisturiser with an extra hydrating ‘punch’ then this could be the one for you. The full size pot is more in keeping with L’Occitane’s traditional packaging and would look nice on a dressing table or displayed in the bathroom.
L’Occitane Angelica Hydration Cream is priced at £30 for 50ml and can be purchased from L’Occitane.
