Jason – Rosewater Hand & Body Lotion

Today’s review is Jason Invigorating Rosewater Pure Natural Hand & Body Lotion (a bit of a mouthful), thankfully I have got on better with this than I did with the Jason Pure Natural Deodorant Stick that I reviewed last week. Firstly I’m not too keen on the packaging, it looks a bit old fashioned, although it does say on their website that Jason do use all recyclable/recycled bio-degradable packaging which is great. I do think that a lot of natural beauty brands scrimp on their packaging and it would be great to see something that rivals the sleek packaging of the premium beauty brands.
I have been applying this Rosewater Hand & Body Lotion daily to my skin after a shower. The white lotion rubs in to the skin nicely and brings out the tan really nicely on my arms (guess who was sat in the sun last weekend!). It has a pleasant scent although personally I’m not a big fan of rose (it reminds me of old ladies’ pot pourri) but the fragrance does last for quite a while on my skin. Jason’s Hand & Body Lotion does come in other flavours including Energizing Vanilla, Softening Cocoa Butter, Calming Lavender and Jason’s marketing team tell me that the Glowing Apricot version has a great Summer fragrance.
This lotion is marketed as being for hands and body – personally I would like something more creamy and thick for my hands, but it works just great on my body. As with all of Jason’s products this Hand & Body Lotion contains natural ingredients, is suitable for vegetarians and is paraben free.
I would definitely try Jason’s lotions again, but I think I might try the cocoa butter flavour next time as the rose scent isn’t really for me. But if rosewater is your thing you can double up on the scent by also using Jason’s matching Invigorating Rosewater Body Wash.
Jason’s Invigorating Rosewater Pure Natural Hand & Body Lotion is priced at £6.99 for £250g (this is a good large tube) and can be purchased from Jason Natural Care.
