Janjira – Thai Lime & Ginger Hand Wash

I always try to use hand washes made from natural ingredients that don’t contain sodium laureth sulfate (SLS) and this Thai Lime & Ginger Hand Wash from Janjira fits the bill.
The Janjira brand was born in Thailand, hence the exotic sounding name, and none of their products contains parabens, paraffins or sulphates – neither are they tested on animals. The Janjira philosophy is all about experiencing spa-inspired products in your own home.
The product that I have been using is a small sample size tube of Thai Lime & Ginger Hand Wash that I recently received in my Dream Box (a collaboration beauty box between Latest In Beauty and British Beauty Blogger) but the full size product is a rather handsome tall dark green pump bottle, as you can see from the image above.
The hand wash itself is a thick, clear gel which foams fairly easily when added to water but does still feel quite thick in your hands and needs a thorough rinsing. It has a nice warm gingery scent which lingers on your skin, although I can’t detect the fragrance of lime.
Janjira Thai Lime & Ginger Hand Wash looks very lovely on my sink and with its dark green label it perfectly matches my L’Occitane Verbena Moisturizing Hand Lotion (you can read my review of that here).
I like this hand wash, although I think if I had to choose I prefer the Ginger & Lime Luxury Hand Wash from Naturally European that I recently reviewed (read my review of that here) as it is a bit lighter and the scent of citrus comes through a bit more.
Thai Lime & Ginger Hand Wash is priced at £16 for 250ml, available from Janjira.
