I Heart Makeup Goddess Of Love Review

If you’ve not heard of I ♡ Makeup before it’s the little sister of budget brand Makeup Revolution, and it’s just as reasonably priced. Just before Christmas I reviewed their heart-shaped I ♡ My Lips Lipstick in Rising Pulse which I really loved, so I decided it was about time I tried another of their heart-shaped offerings.

This is Goddess Of Love Triple Baked Highlighter and I’ve wanted it ever since I first saw it online, I love the fact that it’s heart-shaped!

To be honest there’s not too much to say about it… other than I love it! It’s a hard-baked powder highlighter, really pale and shimmery. It gives the skin a really lovely glow and it blends nicely. You do need to be careful you don’t apply too much at once otherwise you could end up looking a bit shiny – it’s always easier to add more of a product than to remove some!

I’ve been using my Bobbi Brown Face Blender brush to apply Goddess Of Love, it’s a really soft brush and it’s not too big which allows you to place the highlighter exactly where you want it. I like to brush a little bit across the top of my cheekbones and temples, you can also dab a bit under your browbones with your finger if you want to open up your eyes a little too.

I love the purple and white packaging, although it is cardboard so make sure you don’t spill water on it or it might go a bit soggy.

I ♡ Makeup also have a range of heart-shaped blushers called ‘Blushing Hearts’ – these are next on my wishlist to try!

  1. I always love the look of these but I have so many highlighters and blushes I’ve never bothered. It has a lovely golden sheen to it x

  2. I really want to try these I heart makeup sets. I’ve had my eye set on one of the heart shape blush packs and I’m yet to buy it…though I’m slightly tempted to add this one to my list too!?
