Etsy beauty Christmas gift guide

So Christmas is only a few weeks away now and if you’re anything like me you’ll be starting to think about buying gifts. It might only be November but the shops are already playing Christmas music and festive light switch-ons are upon us! I’m sure you put a lot of thought into what gifts to buy for your nearest and dearest, but how much thought do you put into WHERE you buy them from?
When you buy from a large high street store or a big online retailer you are lining the pockets of nameless individuals who already have more than enough money and paying for the upkeep of their premises/stores. Plus, many of their products are produced overseas and importing them can contribute to world pollution. However when you buy from small independent makers and retailers not only could your gift be better quality and possibly cheaper, but you’re also helping to keep a small business going, contributing to the UK economy and reducing your carbon footprint.
This Christmas I will be buying lots of my gifts from Etsy – the global marketplace bringing together thousands of designers, crafters and makers who offer a plethora of unique and fabulous handcrafted items and vintage treasures. I have put together this gift guide to show you that there are so many more options for buying beauty gifts than from the big stores. All of the items I have chosen to show you are from UK sellers, so every time you purchase you are helping a small business or independent maker and ensuring that they have a great Christmas themselves!

BlushberryBotanicals is a natural skincare brand based in Scotland and all of their products look so pretty in their little tins with pastel coloured labels. My pick of their products is this Prosecco Vegan Lip Butter (other flavours include Gin & Tonic, Peach Bellini and Rocky Road) as it would just slide really nicely into a Christmas stocking. All of Blushberry Botanicals’ skincare is cruelty free and vegan too.
