Elemis Quiet Mind Temple Balm Review

Quiet Mind Temple Balm is part of Elemis’ new Sp@ Home collection, I’ve already reviewed the Treat Your Feet Foot Cream from that range. This was given to me at Christmas from a good friend who knows that I often have trouble getting off to sleep and this product aims to help promote harmony, tranquillity and relaxation via a blend of natural essential oils.

Elemis Quiet Mind Temple Balm Ingredients

It’s not really a balm at all, more of a clear serum, and the first thing I noticed is that the fragrance is extremely strong. However the initial overpowering scent soon calms down to leave a gentle, soothing fragrance. It also has a slight menthol touch to it which feels cooling on the skin.

Quiet Mind Temple Balm is supposed to be applied to the temples, ear lobes and back of the neck, however I’ve been just rubbing a little onto my wrist as I didn’t want it TOO near my nose! Applied just before bed it really does help me to feel relaxed and calmed.

Perhaps the only downside is that the bottle is very small, just 15ml, and each pump does dispense a little bit more than you probably need for one application. Other than that I really like it, and it has joined my arsenal of bedside table products for helping me sleep – others include Badger Sleep Balm and L’Occitane Relaxing Pillow Mist.

Quiet Mind Temple Balm is priced at £17, available from Debenhams. There is also a Quiet Mind Relaxing Bath Elixir which sounds divine!
