Clarins – HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase

I know I post a lot of reviews of Clarins products, but that’s because I’ve been using them for a long while and I really like them. Today I am talking about a sample of HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase that I received the last time I ordered some Clarins products, however I have also purchased and used this in the past.
Serums are big news at the moment, offering to give your skin that extra moisture or radiance boost. This one aims to help your skin restore lost moisture, keeping it moisturised, comfortable and plump.
A couple of weeks before Christmas I was in bed with a virus for a few days, and without my normal skincare regime my skin felt dry and tight. After 4-5 days of applying HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase before bed at night, followed by my regular moisturiser, my skin was back to normal.
The serum should be applied once a day, either morning or night, to cleansed skin, then followed up with your normal moisturiser. It sinks into the skin really quickly and doesn’t leave it feeling sticky or oily, so if you prefer to use it in a morning it doesn’t cause make-up to slide.
I can’t really say that this is a miracle product, but if you’re looking for a good moisturising serum that won’t break the bank (and some serums can be seriously expensive!) then this would be a good choice.
HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase is priced at £41 for 30ml, available from Clarins.
