Chanel – Precision Lip Definer in Natural

I love a good lip liner pencil but I think they’re getting a bit overlooked these days in favour of other more trendy make-up products such as brow pencils. When it comes to lip pencils I think there are some great ones out there and there’s something to suit every budget. I’ve always had a bit of a thing for Chanel lip pencils, they last for ages and they have a cute little lip brush on the other end.
My latest purchase is Chanel Precision Lip Definer pencil in the shade 34 Natural. It’s a nude brown shade, not too pale and not too dark.
Nude lips have been such a thing for ages now and they work so well when you’re wearing a look where the focus is on the eyes. This pencil works with both pinky-toned and browny-toned lipsticks, my favourite at the moment is Japanese Maple from Mac that I reviewed last year.
You can see from the swatch image above that Natural does have pinky tones to it, I think the name is perfect – it is very natural!
The pencil is quite a hard one but you don’t have to press onto the lip line too hard to apply your colour – Chanel have got it just right.
It’s easy to keep your Chanel Precision Lip Definer nice and pointed too as each pencil comes with a mini sharpener.
I know that Chanel isn’t the cheapest make-up brand around but I do think you get what you pay for and the brand is usually easy enough to find in lots of department stores throughout the UK. Their staff are usually pretty knowledgeable too and will be able to help you find the right shade to suit you.
Chanel Precision Lip Definer pencil is priced at £15.75, available from Debenhams.
