Chanel Nail Colour – Orange Fizz

Review of Chanel Nail Colour in Orange Fizz

Well here it is, the one you’ve been waiting for, my first post!

As the weather is becoming a bit warmer (and it’s about time too!) I thought I would review one of my favourite Summery nail colours – Chanel’s Orange Fizz.

Being a jewellery designer I don’t wear nail varnish as much as I’d like to, working with metalwork tools and fiddly little bits of silver mean that the colour chips pretty quickly, but I do love having colour on my nails when I can.

This is a fairly pricey colour at £18, but I do find that Chanel’s nail colours can last quite a long time without chipping, and so I don’t mind paying the extra. Having said that, you do need to paint it on fairly thickly in order to get a good coverage – here I have used 2 thick coats (3 thinner coats works fine too), and I often finish it with a clear top coat to give a nice shine.

This is a lovely Summery coral orange colour and it looks just as good on toes as it does on fingers. Let’s just hope we get enough Summer this year to do all those lovely Summery makeup colours justice!

Chanel nail colours can be purchased from Debenhams here.

I hope you have enjoyed my first blog post, I would love to know if you have any comments or suggestions.
