Botanicals – Hydrating Mist With Rose & Camellia

Botanicals is one of my favourite skincare brands and I have previously reviewed a few of their products including Radiance Serum and Cleansing Melt. All of Botanicals’ skincare products are natural and organic, plus they aren’t tested on animals and are suitable for vegans. It quite often scares me when I read through the list of ingredients on many skincare products to see all the chemicals that are included and I imagine what these could be doing to my body (many of the chemicals included within regular products are preservatives, colourings and fragrances that don’t add any benefit to our skin). So I find it really refreshing and reassuring when I read the list of ingredients on a Botanicals product and I recognise so many of them as being natural.
Hydrating Mist With Rose & Camellia is 100% organic and natural and is certified by The Soil Association. Its ingredients include Rose oil and Camellia Extract, and it’s suitable for all skin types but particularly dry or mature skins. Botanicals also offer a version with Mandarin & Chamomile aimed at sensitive or combination skins.
The mist can be used like a toner, spritzing onto a cotton wool pad after cleansing and then wiping away any traces of cleanser before moisturising as normal. Alternatively you can also spritz it directly onto the face as a cooling pick-me-up, I’ve been doing this during the recent warm weather and it’s really refreshing.
Botanicals Hydrating Mist With Rose & Camellia has a nice fresh Rose scent, but it’s not overpowering and smells really natural and gentle.
There’s not much else I can say about this product, it’s just a good, natural skincare product from one of my favourite brands. If you’ve never tried Botanicals skincare before then I would urge you to do so, they also offer travel-size gift collections if you want to try smaller sizes before splashing out on larger products.
Hydrating Mist with Rose & Camellia is priced at £14.95 for 100ml, available from Botanicals.
