Bellapierre Shimmer Powder in Celebration Review

I’ve had this Bellapierre Shimmer Powder in coppery Celebration for months now, but it’s taken me until now to get round to writing about it. Bellapierre is a UK brand who produce 100% natural mineral cosmetics.

Firstly – what is mineral make-up? It is make-up made from naturally occuring minerals that are found in the earth. These minerals are ground up into fine particles and used to make powders, foundations and other products. These minerals provide coloured pigments, and also sun protection and anti-inflammatory effects. All of Bellapierre’s products are based on natural ingredients and are paraben-free.

These Shimmer Powders have multiple uses – I have been using this one as eyeshadow and eyeliner, but they can also be sprinkled on wet nail varnish to give the nails some sparkle, mixed with lip gloss or lipstick to make a lip colour or dabbed on the ends of lashes straight after applying mascara to add some colour to the lashes. This Celebration shade would also look great added to body lotion to create a body shimmer lotion. They are truly the definition of a multi-tasking product!

Celebration is a shimmery bright copper shade, it’s very smooth to apply and extremely pigmented so you only need to apply a little if you’re using it as an eyeshadow. To use the Shimmer Powder just shake a little out of the powder shaker into the lid – it feels more creamy than powdery once you start applying it though, it’s really smooth and buttery. Use a small eyeshadow brush and blend it really well. In the photo below I paired it with gunmetal grey Urban Decay Eyeshadow in S&M to help down the bright coppery shade a bit, and blended Celebration well into the outer corners of the eyelid.

Not only is Bellapierre mineral make-up 100% natural and paraben free, it’s also cruelty free and the brand carries the Leaping Bunny mark, so you can use their make-up with a clean conscience.

    • There’s such a wide range of shades available too, from neutral to brights. xx

  1. Such a lovely product and a massive bonus that it is natural & paraben free 🙂 xx

  2. I’ve had mine sitting in a draw for months gathering dust, I just can’t figure out a time to see how best to use it! It’s such a pretty colour on though, so you’ve inspired me x

    • Just go for it! Why not try it on your nails? Sprinkle it over freshly painted wet nails, or just dip the tips into it? xx
