Beautiful Movements – Concealer Powder

Now I must admit that I have actually reviewed this product – Mineral Concealer Powder from Beautiful Movements – before, but that was in conjunction with their Prime & Create Mixing Medium and I didn’t get on with it too well back then in 2013. Fast forward 2 years and I now use this concealer most days, albeit in a different lighter shade and on its own without the Mixing Medium.
Beautiful Movements used to be known as BM Beauty and one of their co-founders is stunning ex-Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt. Beautiful Movements are a natural cosmetic brand and their products are free from parabens, animal products, synthetic dyes & fragrances, neither are they tested on animals.
Mineral Concealer Powder is exactly that, a powder concealer made from minerals, but despite being a powder it blends really well and takes on a slightly creamy consistency once it settles on the skin. It comes in a little pot with a sieve inserted inside the top which is a welcome addition to this product.
Mineral Concealer Powder is available in 2 shades – Be Gone and Vanish. The one I’m using now is Vanish, it’s a pale porcelain shade perfect for those with pale skins. I just tap a little bit of the powder through the ‘sieve’ into the pot lid and then apply using a Bobbi Brown Concealer Brush. The powder blends really easily and covers all blemishes and dark circles.
In the image above I have shown what the powder looks like when it is loose and then once it is blended. I haven’t blended it fully otherwise you wouldn’t be able to see it, but as you can see it gives good coverage and gives a matt finish.
I also use Beautiful Movements Mineral Foundation Powder, it works in the same way as the Concealer.
I actually think that this Mineral Concealer Powder is pretty good value. It’s priced at £8 for 4g, available from Beautiful Movements. If you’d prefer to have a look at the shades yourself in a shop rather than ordering online Beautiful Movements Cosmetics are available in larger Holland & Barrett stores.
