Be A Bombshell Eye Liner Onyx Review

I had never heard of Be A Bombshell before I received this Onyx black Eye Liner in my September Glossybox. The US brand was started in 2011 by makeup fanatic Tonya Thompson and offers an affordable range of basic make-up products. Unfortunately as this is a fairly new US brand I am unable to find their products on sale anywhere in the UK, however I am hoping that Be A Bombshell are dipping their toe in the UK market via Glossybox with a view to later selling their products over here.

This Eye Liner is the felt-tip type of liquid eye liner and it’s really easy to use. I definitely prefer liquid eyeliners that come in the form of a pen, they are much easier to apply than the ones that have a little brush. You can see from the swatch image below that the colour is a really dense dark black colour that translates well on to the skin. The Eye Liner has a water resistant formula too, so it is really long lasting and doesn’t smudge at all, although it is fairly easy to remove using make-up remover or a cream cleanser.

I love to wear this Eye Liner from Be A Bombshell with 2 coats of black mascara and a bright lip for a classic look. Alternatively you could apply the liner in a wider strip with a flick at the outer edge of the eye for a 1960s feel.

I’m not sure how long this Eye Liner pen will last as I have found in the past that this type of pen Eye Liner can sometimes get clogged with make-up on the tip, making it difficult to apply. However I have used this quite a few times already and there’s no sign of make-up on the tip yet.

This Eye Liner from Be A Bombshell is available in 5 different colours, priced at $14 each (around £8.60). You can view more of Be A Bombshell’s make-up range at their website, but unfortunately they do not currently ship to the UK.
