Batiste Dry Shampoo – Tropical

I’ve reviewed a few of the different ‘flavours’ of Batiste Dry Shampoo over the past couple of years, including the Light & Blonde variety. Dry Shampoo really is a lifesaver product and I’m never without a can on my dressing table – and I always go for Batiste as it’s the original, traditional dry shampoo.
If you’ve never tried dry shampoo before it absorbs grease from the surface of your hair, helping to remove the shiny look of hair that could do with a wash, and it also adds texture and volume to freshly washed hair ideal if you want to create an up-do. In my opinion Batiste is the only brand of dry shampoo to buy, it’s been around forever and there’s a variety to suit everyone.
I decided to choose the Tropical scented option last week when I purchased my latest can of Batiste Dry Shampoo. It’s described as ‘coconut & exotic’ and it certainly is that! It’s very highly perfumed with coconut and smells just like a desert island! I really like the scent of coconut, and the fragrance can be smelled in your hair for hours after you’ve sprayed it, but I do think it’s just a little overpowering. I think I prefer the scent of Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo which I reviewed last year, but that’s not to say that I don’t like the Tropical one.
