Barry M – Textured Glitter Nail Paint in Lady

This is my third and final review of Barry M’s Textured Glitter Nail Paint. I have recently reviewed the golden Majesty shade (you can read that review here) and the pink Princess shade (you can read that review here). Today I am reviewing the white Lady shade, and I have to say I think it’s my favourite out of the three!
I absolutely adore a good glitter nail polish, and I rate them on how dense the glitter is. Some glittery polishes look amazing in the bottle, but then when you paint them onto the nails they look sad and washed out, and you need at least 4 coats to get a good glittery coverage… not so with these Textured Glitter Nail Paints from Barry M! After just one coat the nail is covered with glitter and it’s really sparkly and dense.
Lady is a pale creamy white colour with a gold shimmer undertone. The image above shows how it looks after just 2 coats.
The white and golden glitter particles are very small and densely packed into the textured white varnish (the varnish is almost cream and white 2-tone), and the polish gives a rough textured feel when it has dried on the nails. It’s not an unpleasant texture, it feels a bit like mild sandpaper, but you could add a couple of coats of clear top coat if you prefer a smooth shiny finish.
I love the fact that this Textured Glitter Nail Paint in Lady is a subtle alternative to the bright white nail colours that are currently popular. This Barry M paint helps you follow the trend without looking like you’ve got Tippex on your nails! Plus it looks fab with a tan.
There are 5 colours available in Barry M’s Royal Textured Glitter Nail Paint range.
I have been wearing Lady for a week now and I have hardly any chips or wear to the polish, so I would say that is a really hardwearing nail varnish. Plus these Barry M Textured Glitter Nail Paints remove fairly easily for glitter polish, as long as you use a good strong nail varnish remover that contains acetone.
UPDATE 04/03/2016 – this nail paint is no longer available, so why not check out the huge range of special effects nail paints at Barry M to find another favourite?
