Asian beauty products from Beauteque

The playful nature and kitsch packaging of Asian beauty products have always appealed to me and I’ve reviewed quite a few make-up and skincare products from Korean brands such as Tony Moly and Etude House before. However it’s not always easy to get hold of these products here in the UK, I often resort to eBay or Amazon to get hold of them.
But now there’s Beauteque – a new one-stop online shop for all things Asian beauty. Started in Summer 2015 by a young entrepreneur, Beauteque offers an ever expanding range of skincare, make-up, haircare and bodycare all from Asian brands. Whilst the website is based in the USA they ship all over the world and I was very excited to see that they stock some of my favourite brands.
Beauteque offers two shopping experiences – you can either purchase from the regular online store or they also provide two monthly subscriptions services – the BB Bag which holds 6-8 make-up and skincare products, or the Mask Maven with 9-11 sheet masks in each box.
I was lucky enough to be sent a selection of make-up to try out…
The Face Shop ‘Make Me Trendy’ Nail Art Pens – in gold and silver these nail art pens have a really thin brush that you can use to paint cute dots, flowers or lines. The polishes are clear with very fine glitter and add sparkle to any nail art design. Just paint on like you would with a regular nail polish then seal with a clear top coat.
Baviphat Urban Dollkiss Easylooks Soft Lipstick – this is actually one of my favourite items, I just love the packaging and think it rivals any premium European lipstick brand. Available in six shades mine is 09 Cocoa Brown, although I’d describe it as more of a rose pink shade. The ingredients include Argan Oil and Macademia Seed Oil, this lipstick really helps hydrate the lips whilst you’re wearing it.
Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lovely Lips Patch – lips are left super soft, smooth and hydrated with this lip mask that contains a medley of hydrating and nourishing ingredients. To use you just remove the protective covering and place on your lips for 15-20 minutes, then remove and pat remaining essence in. It has a light berry fruity flavour and cute packaging that is so typical of Asian beauty products.
Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lipliner and Kissful Tint Choux – this is a great lip pairing from one of my favourite Asian brands. The Soft Touch Auto Lipliner comes in four different shades, mine is Pink Beige. It’s a creamy soft lipliner pencil in a pinky nude shade which will match really well with any nude lipstick.
This Kissful Tint Choux is a lip stain with a light, gel-like texture that moistens your lips and leaves them looking bright and naturally plump. There are three fruity shades available from Beauteque, mine is Tangerine Choux which is a pinky peach shade.
Beauteque stocks over 100 brands including Holika Holika, Missha and Skinfood, and their range of sheet masks is huge. Postage costs to the UK and Europe are calculated by weight (don’t forget there will be customs tax too as per all orders from abroad) but if you live in the US you can take advantage of free shipping if your order is over $35.

Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lovely Lips Patch is priced at $5 (around £3.60), available from Beauteque.
UPDATE 16th September 2017 – the rest of the make-up items mentioned above are no longer available from Beauteque. Where possible I’ve tried to list where they can be sourced elsewhere, or I’ve suggested an alternative.
The Face Shop ‘Make Me Trendy’ Nail Art Pens are no longer available on Beauteque, however I have found them at YesStyle, priced at £4.84 each.
Etude House Kissful Tint Choux is no longer available at Beauteque and I’m struggling to find it anywhere else online. However I can recommend Benefit Ultra Plush Lip Gloss which I reviewed here, it has a similar light texture and beautiful gloss.
Baviphat Urban Dollkiss Easylooks Soft Lipstick is no longer available at Beauteque and I’m struggling to find it anywhere else online. However it did remind quite a bit of this Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick that I reviewed some time ago, it has a similar texture and finish.
Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lipliner is no longer available at Beauteque and I’m struggling to find it anywhere else online. My favourite nude lip liner is this one from Chanel which I reviewed some time ago and I ALWAYS have it in my handbag!
