Anatomicals – Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz

This Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz from new trendy brand Anatomicals was in my June Glossybox. It arrived on a really hot day so I tried it out pretty much straight away.
The Facial Spritz can be used on the face to refresh and cool you down when it is hot. Unfortunately the mist isn’t really fine enough for use on the face, giving more of a squirt than a spritz! But it could also be used on the rest of the body – a quick spray on the chest and wrists really helps to cool me down. Plus, if you keep it in the fridge it has even more cooling power.
The ingredients of this Facial Spritz include mint, rose, lavender and witch hazel, all intended to help your skin feel fresh and cool. It has a gentle scent a bit like the smell of baby wipes – I’m not too keen on the scent myself, but it’s not really unpleasant.
I do love the idea of a facial spritz when it is hot, but personally I’m not sure I would buy this again. I would probably just refill the bottle with water and keep it in the fridge in readiness for hot days.
A small range of Anatomicals products are available online from Selfridges and ASOS, and they are also starting to pop up in supermarkets including Asda and Morrisons. Most are great value – a 300ml bottle of bath foam costs just £2.99, and a 250ml tube of shampoo costs just £2.79. Personally I’m not too keen on the packaging – it reminds me of the Boots’ own brand packaging from a few years ago – but I love that the products have been given really quirky names like ‘Grease Isn’t The Word Mattifying Face Mask’ and ‘The Hottie Tottie Is Never Spotty Face Wash’.
Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz is one of Anatomicals’ more pricey products at £6 for 100ml. I’m struggling to find it available online, so keep an eye out at your local supermarket.
