My new Kiehl’s skincare regime

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited along to the Kiehl’s store in York for a complimentary facial and a selection of trial sized goodies to try out at home. If you don’t know much about Kiehl’s it was originally one old world New York pharmacy that was opened in 1851 by a Mr Kiehl and a Mr Morse (poor Mr Morse, he never got his name included in the brand). It offered its customers herbal remedies, over-the-counter drugs, essential oils and the very first Kiehl’s branded products. Fast forward over 150 years and it’s many stores now offer a wide range of skincare and bodycare products that make use of natural ingredients and benefit from Kiehl’s’ medicinal knowledge that has been developed over many years. Apparently it was the first skincare brand to offer a range specifically aimed at men, although all of their products look fairly unisex and could be used by both men and women.
