How to make easy extra money online every month

How to make easy extra money online every month

As a beauty blogger I end up spending a lot of my disposable income on skincare and make-up…. plus haircare, nail polish, supplements, fragrance, the list goes on. All in the name of blogging, obvs! (Well, that’s what I like to tell myself.) Anyway, I like to supplement my monthly spending by making a bit of extra money on the side. As I have a toddler to look after I don’t have a lot of spare time, so these are all quick and easy methods of making money that you can do online in your own time. Prolific Academic Prolific Academic is a survey website, and it’s my favourite. It’s easy to earn £30 or more each month using Prolific Academic and unlike other survey sites it only shows you the surveys that you’re eligible for so you don’t spend ages answering questions only to find out you’ve been screened out. Some of the surveys take as little as 2 minutes, other takes slightly longer, but it tells...

Earn cash while you shop for beauty products!

Earn cash while you shop for beauty products!

Now as this is a beauty blog I don’t usually write posts about making money, but please bear with me as this post does actually have a beauty link. Now we all like buying make-up and skincare products right? That’s why we’re beauty bloggers or readers of beauty blogs! So what if you could make money whilst you shop for your beauty products? Sounds too good to be true doesn’t it, but actually it isn’t. Last week I joined Quidco, the UK’s No.1 cashback site. What is a cashback site? It’s a website that you sign up for and then when you click through from the site to a specific retailer and place a normal online shopping order with that retailer you earn a percentage of cashback which is paid to the cashback site from the retailer for referring you to them. Does that make sense? I hope so! I had heard of cashback websites before but never really paid much notice of them. I assumed that they would...

Ciate – Paint Pots in Pocket Money

Ciate – Paint Pots in Pocket Money

How stunning do Ciate Paint Pots look with their unique bottle shape and little black bow?! This is Pocket Money, and it’s the first Ciate nail polish that I ever purchased. Ciate (pronounced ‘See-are-tey’) is a London brand and they’re always bringing out innovative new nail products including their recent Shell Manicure whereby you sprinkle a layer of shimmery crushed shells directly onto a layer of wet nail polish. Check out the Ciate website to view their full range of nail polishes and special effects. Pocket Money is a creamy caramel colour with quite a glossy finish – very chic, it’s one of my favourites and I always receive nice comments when I’m wearing it. The brush is made up of 250 bristles and is flat and wide which means that it takes less strokes to apply the polish across the whole nail and makes it quicker and easier to get a neat finish. As I’ve already mentioned I love Ciate’s packaging, the uniquely shaped bottles are set off...

Glossybox – July 2013

Glossybox – July 2013

Here it is! My July Glossybox! The theme of this one is Seaside Splash, and they are all products suitable for a seaside getaway. I’m not too keen on the turquoise and orange seaside-themed box, it’s not as pretty as the usual Glossyboxes, but there is a good selection of products inside – albeit small ones! Here is what I got in my July Glossybox… My first and favourite product is a full-size Ciate Paint Pots nail varnish in a lovely nude pinky-beige colour called Pocket Money which retails at around £9. I’ve never tried Ciate products before although I have been reading a lot about them recently, and I just love the little bow on the front which makes this bottle stand out from other nail paints. Looks like it would make a perfect base colour for nail art too! The second product is a full-size 100ml Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz from Anatomicals which retails at £6. I’ve never tried a face spritz before but it’s definitely the...
