KOREAN BEAUTY Forencos – Lips In Love

KOREAN BEAUTY Forencos – Lips In Love

I am currently taking part in an initiative working with BNT News International, a global beauty/fashion/lifestyle and entertainment source based in Seoul, South Korea. I am helping BNT to promote a selection of new and exciting Korean beauty products to a UK audience, these are products that you probably won’t have seen before and some of them are really different and unique. My first Korean beauty post went live yesterday when I reviewed Hot Girl Lash coloured mascara from Too Cool For School. The product that I am reviewing today is Lips In Love lip paint from Forencos. It comes in several bright colours and I have been testing out the bright crimson red shade (04) called Lol Lol Lol. I thought it was going to be like a lip gloss when I first tried it, but it’s not, it’s more like a liquid paint consistency that you apply with the soft applicator which is really tickly! The paint feels a bit tingly at first but dries on the lips...

I ♡ Makeup – Lipstick in Rising Pulse

I ♡ Makeup – Lipstick in Rising Pulse

If you’ve not heard of I ♡ Makeup before it’s the little sister of budget brand Makeup Revolution, and it’s just as reasonably priced. Before I started blogging I had a dim view of budget make-up brands and thought that you got what you paid for (you certainly used to) but in recent years a number of great quality budget make-up brands have taken the beauty industry by storm. This is I ♡ My Lips Lipstick in Rising Pulse, and the reason I was drawn to it is because the lipstick is in the shape of a heart! (I’m very easily pleased!). I thought it was a great novelty, but wasn’t sure whether the heart-shape would make the lipstick difficult to apply. Rising Pulse is a pale nude shade, it has a creamy texture but looks quite matt on the lips. The vanilla flavour is pleasant, and doesn’t taste/smell artificial like some lipsticks do. In the image above you can clearly see the heart shaped lipstick. I don’t find that it’s difficult to...

e.l.f. – Mineral Booster Natural Mineral Makeup in Sheer

e.l.f. – Mineral Booster Natural Mineral Makeup in Sheer

I’ve had this Mineral Booster powder from from budget New York make-up brand e.l.f. (stands for Eyes Lips Face) for quite a while now but I’ve only just got round to trying it. It’s part of e.l.f.’s mineral make-up range, made from 100% natural minerals with no chemical additives, dyes or parabens. I’ve already reviewed a few products from e.l.f. including their Mineral Lipstick in Runway Pink. The Mineral Booster is a loose powder that is packaged in a small tub with a ‘sieve-type’ shaker and a black lid. I have been using the Sheer shade which is a very pale creamy colour with a pink undertone, although I have to say when it is on the skin it is pretty much translucent. e.l.f. suggest that Mineral Booster powder can be used alone, or worn over foundation and concealer to give a matt effect. I wouldn’t really recommend using it on its own, the powder is so light and fluffy that it doesn’t really ‘grip’ to the skin and...

Dr. Lipp – Original Nipple Balm For Lips

Dr. Lipp – Original Nipple Balm For Lips

Firstly, I just have to say that I hate the name of this product! It was originally formulated for breastfeeding women, which is where the name comes from, and contains 100% natural ingredients including lanolin. Original Nipple Balm For Lips probably isn’t a product that I would have purchased myself, it arrived in my September Glossybox, but I love natural products and I like the stylish grey and pink packaging so I was looking forward to trying it out. This product is the very definition of ‘multi-tasking’ – not only can it be used on lips (and nipples!) but also on dry skin, cuticles and sunburn. It can also be used with your make-up, to add gloss to the eyelids, highlight cheek bones or neaten eyebrows. You can see from the image above (apologies for the chipped paint job on the thumbnail!) how thick this balm is, I would describe it as more of a thick wax, and you only need a tiny bit for the lips. Personally I...
