Cosmic Beauty – Facial Sheet Masks

Cosmic Beauty – Facial Sheet Masks

I was recently contacted by Cosmic Beauty who are a UK provider of South East Asian beauty products – mainly facial sheet masks. They sell their products via Amazon and Facebook, and they sent me a selection of sheet masks to try. The masks included several for the face, plus an eye mask and a couple for the hands and feet – I didn’t even realise you could get sheet masks for hands and feet! As I’ve tried quite a few of these masks I’m only going to talk in detail today about 2 of them, otherwise the post would be extremely long! Face Q is a range of facial sheet masks from Taiwan. If you haven’t tried a facial sheet mask before, it is a thin cottony sheet soaked in a liquid product that you place over your face and leave for a while (just like you would do a regular cream mask). It has holes for the eyes, nose and mouth so you can still see and...

Elemis – Treat Your Feet Foot Cream

Elemis – Treat Your Feet Foot Cream

This Treat Your Feet Foot Cream by Elemis was nestled inside the Dream Box that I recently received – this beauty box was a collaboration between Latest In Beauty and British Beauty Blogger. I love the Latest In Beauty collection boxes, they’re always jam-packed full of products from great brands and I love the fact that you can see what’s inside before you order. Treat Your Feet is a thick buttery cream with a warm, spicy patchouli and menthol fragrance. It’s a strange fragrance, a lot of foot creams often have refreshing mint as their underlying scent, but I quite like the mysterious warming fragrance although it is quite strong. I have been applying Treat Your Feet Foot Cream to my feet before bed every night for a week now, it sinks into the skin really quickly and my feet do feel really soft as I slip them under the covers. Elemis have developed this product to specifically target dry skin areas such as heels and ankles and it’s...

Eucerin – Dermo Purifyer Cleanser

Eucerin – Dermo Purifyer Cleanser

When I was asked by Escentual if I wanted to try out this Dermo Purifyer Cleanser* from Eucerin I jumped at the chance, I’ve been hearing really good things about this German brand recently particularly for those with sensitive or problem skin. Not only did I receive the cleanser, but a whole host of mini Eucerin skincare samples to try out as well (as you can see from the image below)! I had assumed that this Dermo Purifyer Cleanser would be a creamy wipe-off cleanser, but it’s actually a foaming wash-off cleanser, so I’ve been using it every morning as I like to use a wash-off cleanser after I’ve got up to quickly cleanse and freshen my skin (quick and easy to use in the shower too). It’s a clear soapy liquid with no fragrance, once mixed with a little water and rubbed in the hands it foams well and it easily removes make-up too. The product is aimed at those with acne or problem skin as it helps...

Philosophy – Footnotes & Soul Owner Footcare Duo

Philosophy – Footnotes & Soul Owner Footcare Duo

Summer is the time when we all bare our feet – whether it’s walking barefoot along the beach, kicking off your shoes in the back garden, or just wearing a new pair of sandals. So what better time to review this fab duo of foot products from Philosophy! I have been using these for a week or so now, and they are perfect for getting your feet into tip-top condition and ready for those flip flops. Philosophy Footnotes* is an Energizing Foot Scrub – the tube contains a green exfoliator of thick jelly-like consistency which contains a really good concentration of pumice exfoliating grains. It contains eucalyptus and lavender and has a fresh menthol minty fragrance – peppermint is well known for treating feet, providing a refreshing and cooling sensation. A generous amount of the Footnotes scrub should be applied to damp feet and then massaged in circular motions all over the feet for a few minutes. The scrub froths a little when water is added and feels energizing...
