Which Marilyn Monroe red lipstick suits you?

Which Marilyn Monroe red lipstick suits you?

Max Factor have recently launched a brand new collection of red lipsticks inspired by none other than Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn was seldom seem without her iconic red lips after Max Factor transformed her from plain old Norma Jean into the idol that we know today, and red lips have always been seen as extra-glamorous. Personally I usually shy away from a red lipstick unless I’m feeling ultra-confident, but I do usually receive compliments when I wear it. Max Factor – Velvet Volume False Lash Effect Mascara

Max Factor – Velvet Volume False Lash Effect Mascara

Max Factor is one of my go-to brands for mascara, for years I wore their 2000 Calorie Mascara before discovering False Lash Effect Mascara which then became my favourite. I do find however that I need to add a couple of coats in order to get the dense dramatic coverage that I like, otherwise my...

Max Factor – Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipsticks

Max Factor – Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipsticks

Thinking back through the depths of time I think I can remember when Max Factor first launched their Lipfinity range, and it was quite something at the time – the first long-lasting lipstick! I had a friend who wore nothing else and she swore by Lipfinity, although I found the original ones a little too drying on the lips and you had a separate glossy top coat that you could keep applying over the top of the colour which seemed a little too much like reapplying your lipstick to me… Fast forward several years and Max Factor have recently launched their new range of Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipsticks, a range of 10 shades that last up to 8 hours without having to reapply. Encased inside glossy golden bullets these Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipsticks contain a nourishing oil-based emollient rich formula that includes shea butter, and helps to combat the problem of dry lips that you often get with long lasting lip products. The three shades that I’ve been testing out are...
